What We Can offer

Visuals 

Allows social workers to see short videos and pictures of mentoring sessions daily. In the aim to give a social worker a more emersive and hands on experience.

Timeline

To see a timeline of a young persons pathway and where they are on it based on goals that been ticked off and achieved.

Information Storage

To Quickly update and store information on young people that may be needed but at times may not be accurate due to lost or outdated records

Connection

To connect the young person the mentor and the social worker together with each person being able to check on things and leave updates and comments in their own time.

Quick Call

Quick call functions allows people to quickly call numbers stored on the profile such as clicking a button to call young person, mentor, social worker, doctor, dentist, opticians, colleges and other services or professional. 

Incoming

Heads up display shows all upcoming appointments and overdue deadlines.

Geo fencing Technology

Geo fencing can be turned on and off the app which allows all parties some interesting features. If the young person turns it on the Geo fence is able to send them notification if going past an emerged hub or safe haven facility. e.g. If they travelled past one of our youth centres that young person gets an alert with information of activities they can take part in at that facility. Or if ever a young person is in trouble it highlights safe verified places a young person can go for assistance in the local area if they are in trouble or having issues. We are currently working on allowing young people to receive notification when near home about key information to do with the home such as, which staff member is on shift, things such as whether or not the bins go out on that day, what time is curfew for that day and information posted to the house bulleting by staff that day. For professionals if Y.P and yourself has Geo fencing settings turned on frequently visited spots for young people will pop up on your travels

Acess

Mentor and Social worker can tailor settings to create a shared platform for them that may not be for a young persons eyes in order to share concerns, or sensitive information. (E.g. When using your phones text messaging service or whattsapp, the other contacts in your phone cant see the chat between you and someone else. this operates in a similar way

Filing

Reports forms and mentoring sessions are all available by year, month, date and time for the eyes of mentors and social workers, creating a clear timeline to track which helps if there is a change in worker for young people, as each worker need only to read back to see whats been done in every session or report since the young person joined our service.

Safety

A panic button feature can be turned on on the app for a young person which alerts mentors if a young person is in a state of emergency but do not have the means of contact such as if they forgot their key but has no credit to call out. this will prompt the mentor to contact the young person as soon as possible if on shift.

Reminders

Curfew reminders and journey plans. The app also alerts young people of Approaching curfews and gives them the option to alert staff if they will be late home and if so what time. It gives route and journey suggestions for those young people to get home. And allows a quick update feature that has things they can click to send to mentors such as "Still on the way will make agreed time" "still on the way will be later than agreed time" "cant/wont come home but im physically unharmed" "at a friends (option to input postcode or full address)."

Social

If they choose to the app connects to young peoples social network so creates a direct link to their page. Instagram, Twitter, Facebook

Feedback

Feedback feature allows for all users to send us ideas for new features they would like to see on the APP allowing us to continue to tailor make the APP to our users. 

Updates

Constant attention to detail is being given to the app in order to improve features via update for clients, professionals and other businesses
